Circus Alchemy is a collective of performers offering unique entertainment and engaging performance based in circus, dance, and fire arts. We bring excitement and fun to parties, festivals and shows, as well as team-building retreats, family events & more!
Our performers impress and mesmerize audiences with a wide variety of beautiful costumes and amazing props. Our performances include dazzling fire shows, unique site animation, graceful stilters, and gravity-defying aerial acts. Our offerings range from short improvised acts to choreographed theatrical shows to roving characters. We also offer workshops for youth and adults, because we believe that spectacle arts are for everyone!

Formed in the spring of 2008, after a year of coming together to practice and share skills as part of the New Model Circus Army, Circus Alchemy has established a growing reputation as a highly creative and unique group of performers. Our focus is on integrating circus skills with dance technique in theatrical presentations. Some of the events we have participated in to date include the 2009 Hot & Spicy Food Festival at Toronto’s Harbourfront Centre, the 100th Anniversary of the Arts & Letters Club at Doors Open Toronto 2008, and Lunacy Cabaret w/ the Zero Gravity Circus at Centre of Gravity. Members of Circus Alchemy come from all over Canada and the U.S. with a range of backgrounds including journalism, urban planning, physics, and of course, theatre design, direction, and performance.
